TALES OF THE STAVERS CAPTAINS FAMILY TREES
These family trees just show the main lines of descent and relationships of the Stavers captains. There are two far more complete Stavers family trees on the Ancestry UK website www.ancestry.co.uk and on www.wikitree.com/genealogy/stavers.
There are many descendants of the Stavers captains, including a number in the Netherlands who descend from the children of William Stavers, Knight of the Netherlands, and Thomas Reid Stavers, as both spent time in Java, a Dutch colony, where their children married local Dutch settlers. Rather surprisingly, there do not sem to be any descendants in the male line, so the name Stavers has died out as far as this family of Stavers is concerned. |
